This guided meditation is designed to help you increase your spatial awareness in order to help you dissolve your ego, attachments, aversions, beliefs, fears, and any limitations reinforced by your associations and reference to yourself as a somebody, someone, related to something, somewhere, and sometime.
This mindfulness meditation for spatial awareness is inspired by the teachings of Neuroscientist, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Emptiness Meditation in Buddhism, and Yoga Nidra (Psychic Sleep, a form of self-hypnotic process aimed at purging the subconscious mind of stored mental impressions) and pulls from various disciplines and traditions of meditation in Tibetan Buddhism and Ancient Yogic Techniques.
Through a delicate process of connecting to the energy of space within and all around your body, it becomes easier to dis-identify from your body, ego, and more generically, from matter in local space and time.
Through this process of dis-identification from your body and mind, it becomes possible to effortlessly connect to the field around you, which is filled with infinite possibilities. Once ’empty’ or ‘dis-identified’, you are now able to perceive everybody, everyone, everything, every space, and every time, and from this pool of infinite potential choose to connect in whichever way resonates with you most at any moment in time.
When you cultivate this state of ’emptiness’ or ‘wholeness’, however you choose to look at it, you are no longer bound by the past and the perceived limitations you may have experienced in the past, and you are free to explore and expand into the infinite nature of reality. Practicing this meditation daily or several times a day will help with manifestation, creativity, healing, stress-relief, connection, and feeling more and more whole and one with everything that is, and give you a greater capacity to access the field of consciousness where all possibilities are available.
